We understand that committing to something new can feel like a big decision, especially when there are so many options out there. That’s why we’ve answered some common questions to help you feel confident that this community is the right fit for you.
Do I have to pay to be part of the community?
No, you don’t! Our entry‑level membership is completely free and gives you access to our Facebook community, trusted suppliers, essential planning resources, and plenty of support and inspiration. If you’d like extra guidance, more detailed planning tools, or personalised help, we offer two affordable paid tiers — both costing less than a couple of coffees a month.
I'm not on Facebook. Is it still worth joining?
Absolutely. While our community chat happens on Facebook, all key resources, guides, and planning tools are stored in your private membership area, which you can access from any device. We also send helpful updates by email, and if you join a paid tier, you’ll get access to additional tools and support without needing Facebook at all.
Is there any long-term commitment?
Not at all. Free means free — stay as long as you’re planning your wedding. Our paid tiers are completely flexible too, so you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. Think of us as a supportive team in your pocket, ready whenever you need us.
Do I have to comment and contribute?
No pressure at all. You’re welcome to be as involved or as quiet as you like. Many couples prefer to read, learn, and take things in at their own pace. But if you ever want to ask a question, share your progress, or support others, you’ll find a warm, welcoming space waiting for you.
Are all the suppliers in the community vetted by you?
We’ve worked in the wedding industry for many years, and many of the suppliers in our community are regular exhibitors at our shows — businesses who take weddings seriously and invest in supporting couples. While we haven’t personally vetted every single supplier, being part of TWPC requires a year‑long commitment from businesses, which means they’re actively engaged and invested in helping couples like you.
If I join the community, do I have to use the suppliers in it?
Not at all. There’s no obligation to book anyone. The community simply gives you access to trusted, engaged suppliers so you can get to know them, ask questions, and see who feels right for your day.
What if I need a supplier that isn’t in the community?
Just ask! Between us, we have a huge network of industry contacts. If you’re looking for something specific and don’t see it listed, we can usually point you in the right direction. Our goal is to make your planning journey as smooth and stress‑free as possible.
Is this just another wedding directory?
No — and that’s exactly why we created TWPC. Traditional directories simply list suppliers and leave you to figure out the rest. TWPC is a living, supportive community where you can ask questions, get advice, and build real connections with trusted professionals. It’s like having a wedding fair in your pocket, available all year round.
Is this just another cost for my wedding budget?
Not at all. Our free tier gives you access to expert advice, planning resources, and a supportive community without adding anything to your budget. If you want extra help, exclusive discounts, or personalised support, our paid tiers are optional and intentionally affordable — designed to save you time, stress, and often money too.
So Who's Behind this Community?
TWPC is created by Jackie Galo of Central Exhibitions and Jo Stratfull of Your Perfect Invite — two women with deep roots in the local wedding industry.
During the years when weddings came to a standstill, we found ourselves supporting each other through the uncertainty. We even took up running together (briefly!) just to get some fresh air and clear our heads.
Those runs turned into conversations — about weddings, couples, suppliers, frustrations, ideas, and the future of the industry.
And that’s where the seed of this community was planted.
